The LB|A Approach

Every wall, every window, every threshold — shaped around the way you actually live.

The Studio

Architecture that begins with listening.

For more than 35 years, Luis Boza has practiced, taught, and written about architecture in the Washington, DC region he calls home. Harvard-trained and rooted in the city's neighborhoods — from Cleveland Park to Petworth — he founded reform, llc in 2006 to bring the rigor of academic research to the craft of everyday building.

"Architecture is the stage upon which we live our daily lives."
— Mariam Kamara

Every project begins the same way: with careful listening. Luis works closely with each client — and with a trusted circle of engineers, builders, and craftspeople — to shape spaces that enrich daily life and heighten a sense of place.
